Polyester thermal fuse is made by spinning polyester slice with low melting point. The low melting point polyester chip is a modified polyester, which is prepared by adding the third and fourth modified monomers to the conventional polyester. Compared with polypropylene and polyamide fiber, polyester thermal fuse will flow deformation after melting, and can not be restored after cooling, so the thermal shrinkage is very large, and the low melting point fiber in its free state of thermal shrinkage is only 5%.
Characteristics and advantages of polyester thermal fuse:
1. High strength. The short fiber strength is 2.6 ~ 5.7cN/dtex, and the high strength fiber is 5.6 ~ 8.0cN/dtex. Due to its low hygroscopic properties, its wet strength is basically the same as its dry strength. The impact strength is 4 times higher than polyamide and 20 times higher than viscose fiber.
2. Good elasticity. The elasticity is close to wool, and when it is extended by 5% to 6%, it can be almost completely restored. Wrinkle resistance is more than other fibers, that is, the fabric does not wrinkle, and the dimensional stability is good. The elastic modulus is 22 ~ 141cN/dtex, which is 2 ~ 3 times higher than polyamide fiber. Polyester fabric has high strength and elastic resilience, so it is fast, durable, wrinkle-resistant and ironing.
3. Heat-resistant polyester is made by melt spinning, and the formed fiber can be heated and melted again, which belongs to thermoplastic fiber. The melting point of polyester is relatively high, and the specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity are small, so the heat resistance and heat insulation of polyester fiber are higher. It's the best synthetic fiber.
4. Good thermoplasticity, poor melt resistance. Because of its smooth surface and tight internal molecular arrangement, polyester is the best heat-resistant fabric in synthetic fiber fabrics. It is thermoplastic, can be made into pleated skirts, and the pleats are long-lasting. At the same time, the melt resistance of polyester fabric is poor, and it is easy to form holes when it meets soot and Mars. Therefore, wear should try to avoid contact with cigarette butts, sparks and so on.
5. Good wear resistance. The wear resistance is second only to the best wear resistance of nylon, better than other natural fibers and synthetic fibers.
