Polyester thermal fuse is made from low melting point polyester chip spinning. Low melting point polyester chip is a kind of modified polyester, which is prepared by adding the third and fourth modified monomers into the conventional polyester. Polyester thermal fuse made from polyester chips with low melting point has the advantages of low melting point, high thermal bonding strength and stable physical and chemical properties.
Polyester thermal fuse has many advantages.
1. High strength. Short fiber strength is 2.6 ~ 5.7cN/dtex, high strength fiber strength is 5.6 ~ 8.0cN/dtex. Because of its low hygroscopicity, its wet strength is basically the same as dry strength. The impact strength is 4 times higher than nylon and 20 times higher than viscose fiber.
2. Good elasticity. Elastic close to wool, when elongation 5 ~ 6%, almost full recovery. Wrinkle resistance over other fibers, that is, the fabric does not wrinkle, good dimensional stability. The elastic modulus is 22 ~ 141cN/dtex, 2 ~ 3 times higher than nylon. Polyester fabric has high strength and elastic recovery ability, so it is strong and durable, wrinkle resistant and ironing free.
3. The heat-resistant polyester is made by melt spinning, and the formed fiber can be melted by heating again. It belongs to thermoplastic fiber. The melting point of polyester is relatively high, but the specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity are small, so the heat resistance and thermal insulation of polyester fiber are higher. It's the best of all synthetic fibers.
4. Good thermoplastic, poor fusible resistance. Polyester is the most heat-resistant synthetic fabric because of its smooth surface and tight molecular arrangement. It is thermoplastic and can be made into pleated skirts with long-lasting pleats. At the same time, polyester fabric has poor fusible resistance and is easy to form holes when exposed to soot and Mars. Therefore, wear should try to avoid contact with cigarette butts, sparks and so on.
5. Good wear resistance. Wear resistance next to the best wear resistance nylon, better than other natural fibers and synthetic fibers.
