On July 7th, the Wenzhou Fashion Shoe Industry Chain Linkup Activity with the theme "Wenzhou Shoes - Shaping the World" and the 2026 China Shoe Capital E-commerce Conference opened in Fengmen Street, Lucheng District. From now until July 15th, this industry event that spans the entire chain levels of "design - production - e-commerce - foreign trade - innovation incubation" will collaborate with 11 parks and over 100 enterprises, simultaneously holding more than 10 themed sub-events such as trade fairs and industry exchanges, and comprehensively empowering the upgrade of the industry chain levels. Riding on the digital wave, pairs of excellent Wenzhou shoes are now heading towards the world from here. 

The provincial cluster was inaugurated and three major projects were signed, further enhancing the "Shoe Capital" brand image. 

Recently, the Luxi Fashion Women's Shoes Industrial Cluster has been officially recognized as a "2026 Annual Characteristic Industrial Cluster of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Zhejiang Province". As the core area of the "China Shoe Capital", Luxi has established a complete industrial system integrating research, trade, testing, and production. Currently, the total number of shoe enterprises in the area exceeds 2,000, and their products are exported to 162 countries and regions. Among them, the fashion women's shoes industrial cluster has gathered over 130 state-owned enterprises, with a total output value exceeding 20 billion yuan in 2025 and launching over 50,000 new styles of women's shoes every year. This honor stems not only from the decades-long dedication of the shoe enterprises but also marks a new starting point for the industry to move towards clustering and high-endization. 

The implementation plan for the 2026 China Shoe Capital AI + Creative Design Competition was released on site. The competition, with the theme of "Design Empowers Industry · Creativity Revives Wenzhou", has two competition tracks: AI Fashion Shoe Product Creative Design and AI Shoe Industry Digital Marketing. It invites independent designers, OPC entrepreneurs, and professional teams from both domestic and international sources to submit original AI works. The winners will be awarded 1 to 3 years of free usage rights of the China Shoe Capital OPC community and will enjoy benefits such as connecting with experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and being recommended to participate in various design competitions. 

On that day, three high-level industrial projects, namely the Global Shoe Fashion Innovation Center Project, the JD Wenzhou Shoe and Boot E-commerce Partnership Project, and the Shoe Technology Transformation and Incubation Park Project, were all signed simultaneously. These projects injected new vitality into "China Shoe Capital". 

Among them, the Global Shoe Fashion Innovation Center project was introduced to Shanghai by Lu Cheng Economic Development Zone Management Committee and set up by Shanghai Shijie Technology Group Co., Ltd. It focuses on providing integrated services including cutting-edge fashion design, trend release, and sample shoe prototyping. JD Clothing and the Wenzhou Leather and Fur Industry Association jointly established the "Wenzhou Good Shoes Alliance" with high-quality merchants, selecting high-quality source shoes from the industrial belt for consumers. At the same time, they launched the "Wenzhou Key Merchants Support Special Program" for merchants in the Wenzhou shoe and boot industry, providing support in three major dimensions: traffic, cost, and marketing. On July 21st, the exclusive venue for "Wenzhou Shoes and Boots - Source Good Goods" will be launched on the JD Clothing platform, integrating all regional traffic resources to bring high-quality Wenzhou shoes directly to consumers across the country. The Shoe Technology Transformation and Incubation Park project was jointly initiated by the Lu Cheng District Science and Technology Bureau and the Wenzhou Leather and Fur Industry Research Institute of Sichuan University. It builds an incubation model of "technology screening + industry empowerment + capital connection" with top research teams. 

The sub-events have actively collaborated to promote production and sales, and the activities have spread throughout the region. 

During this event, over 10 industrial parks simultaneously launched brand orderings, attracting national buyers to select products in a concentrated manner. Both domestic and foreign trade were carried out in parallel, and the order volume continued to rise steadily.
