The 2026 China International Textile Fabrics and Accessories (Spring/Summer) Expo (Intertextile Shanghai Fabric) officially opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on March 11th. As a leading exhibition in the global textile fabrics and accessories sector, this year's event brought together over 3,000 domestic and international exhibitors. With an exhibition area of 190,000 square meters and a layout featuring seven themed pavilions, it has established a one-stop platform integrating new product displays, trend releases, business connections, and industrial exchanges. On the first day, it attracted a large number of professional visitors from home and abroad, vividly demonstrating the vigorous vitality of the textile industry's recovery and innovation.

Renewed Special Exhibition Areas Unveil New Opportunities in Industry Segments

This year's exhibition continues its core positioning of "technology, fashion, and green", closely aligning with the global textile industry's development trends. It optimizes the layout of exhibition areas and enriches the variety of exhibits, covering all types of fabrics and accessories for fashion women's wear, functional sportswear, formal and casual wear, denim, infant and children's wear, and wedding and evening gowns. At the same time, it creates multiple special zones, breaking the boundaries of traditional exhibitions and broadening the development tracks of the industry. Among them, the exhibition has for the first time set up a pet fashion zone, precisely targeting the new consumption trend of pet clothing, and showcasing pet-specific fabrics that are both comfortable, functional, and environmentally friendly, filling the gap in the display of this niche field. It also upgrades and builds a sustainable development zone, in collaboration with the functional fabric area, to showcase green innovation achievements such as recycled fibers, low-carbon dyeing and finishing, and biodegradable fabrics, assisting the industry in practicing the dual carbon goals and responding to the core demands of the global fashion industry for sustainable development.

Domestic and overseas collaboration, full industrial chain builds a new business ecosystem

The deep integration of internationalization and localization is a major highlight of this exhibition. The event brings together high-quality exhibitors from 25 countries and regions including Europe, Japan, South Korea, and Turkey. The international pavilion showcases high-end fabrics, exquisite accessories, and cutting-edge technologies from overseas, presenting a diverse panorama of global textile fashion. Meanwhile, domestic exhibitors focus on technological breakthroughs and quality upgrades, presenting innovative products such as digital printing, high-end embroidery, and functional knits, which balance craftsmanship and market practicality, highlighting the robust strength of China's textile industry. Concurrently, the exhibition collaborates with CHIC Fashion Show, Yarn Expo, and PH Value Knitwear Show to form a comprehensive "yarn-fabric-apparel-knitting" industrial chain ecosystem, facilitating efficient connections between upstream and downstream sectors, reducing business costs, and enhancing industrial collaboration efficiency.
