On December 5th, the 2025 Digital Transformation Conference of the Textile and Garment Industry, as one of the parallel conferences, was held in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. Sun Ruizhe pointed out that the textile industry is one of the earliest and most thorough in the practice of integrating informatization and industrialization. In recent years, the intelligent and networked levels of textile enterprises have been continuously improving. They have shifted from standard production to flexible manufacturing, from single-point breakthroughs to system integration, and from closed competition to open collaboration. The digital and intelligent transformation of the industry has achieved fruitful results. At present, digital transformation is no longer merely a technological iteration, but a strategic lever and core variable for building a modern industrial system. This year, a series of relevant policies have been issued intensively, and the intelligent economy has entered a fast lane of development. The China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) regards artificial intelligence as a key area for the future development of the industry. It has deepened services and guided practices, achieving positive results in related work such as design and research and development, intelligent manufacturing, flexible supply chain, brand development, and green development.
